My beloved octo thigh.

And for a little two cents: don’t get an Octopus tattoo.  They are becoming a cliche just like owls.  Save some breath for those whom have already inked themselves with octopi, or owls (says the gaping owl on my shoulderblade)
 and find yourself an original tattoo with meaning.

The meaning behind mine?  My brother is a First Division Infantryman for the United States Army.  He has an octopus tattoo as a half-sleeve.  The first of three sessions for this tattoo happened on the day my brother deployed for Afghanistan so if anything were to happen to him, we would have something we shared as brother and sister.
